The Freudian Slips Experience is Albuquerque’s premier themed burlesque showcase — a glamorous, consent-forward, community-rooted production that invites you to lie back, relax, and let the show come to you.
We are not your average burlesque show. Every FSE production is a fully immersive, world-built experience with original acts, curated entertainment, and a cast of Albuquerque’s most talented, most unhinged, and most fabulous performers. We build worlds. You inhabit them. Everyone leaves satisfied.
What We Believe
We believe burlesque is for everybody. We believe consent is sexy, community is everything, and that a well-timed Freud joke can heal the soul. We center queer, local, and diverse voices — on stage and in the audience. We are proud to call Albuquerque home, and we build every show with this community in mind.
The Company
The Freudian Slips Experience was founded in September 2023 by Juni Beurre Amie — producer, performer, educator, and certified chaos agent – and Mimi Mimosa – performer, momma, business maven, and Bad Granny Crochet. What began as an excuse to play naked games with our friends has grown into a rotating ensemble of Albuquerque’s finest burlesque, drag and variety talent, producing fully realized, world-built shows that sell out and leave audiences wanting more couch time.
