Juni Beurre Amie

She’s always sticky and sweet, Juni Beurre Amie! This Indigequeer, fat foodie lives out her teenage drama dreams bringing you wildly unreasonable, illogical, and inappropriate characters. Known as the Weird Al of burlesque, Juni has dabbled in many sub-genres of burlesque including: foodlesque, draglesque, neo-burlesque, classic burlesque, cheesecake burlesque and kinklesque. Her style is often crafty and inspired by drag, pop culture, politics, food, camp and ecadysia. Juni comes from the House of Faraday and is the daughter of local drag legend Felica Rockstar Faraday. She is also the “big sister” of local drag king and drunkle Edam Ami and has been known to showcase her vocals. Juni does it all and more!

After a decade in the audience and with no previous experience acting, dancing, or stripping, she took burlesque classes from The Unicorn School of Burlesque & Magic in 2017. Thus, creating “The Trumpening,” an act of BDSM love featuring President Trump & Sean Spicer, with her burlysister Violette Delights for their student showcase debut.

With her “Not so Virgin Mary” act, Juni won the unofficial WTF award at the inaugural Buxom Blaze Burlesque Festival in 2018. Now known for “Clawdette the Autophagic Crab,” she has taken the stages of the 2019 New Mexico Burlesque Festival, 2021 Colorado Burlesque Festival and 2023 Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival stages by storm. In 2023, she won the Bedazzled Buffalo Award for Most Comedic at the Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival with her act; Clawdette the Autophagic Crab!

Juni has also dabbled in producing local shows and is a co-producer of The Freudian Slips Experience. In 2019 she produced The Dirty Delicatessens Titsgiving, a foodlesque show and improv burlesque competition benefiting Roadrunner Foodbank. In 2021 she put on The Rt 66 Risque Appeteazer Show, the first burlesque show at Hollow Spirits showcasing: magic, neo-burlesque, draglesque and foodlesque by local talents. Now with the The Freudian Slips she will bring highly curated, custom burlesque and variety experiences to the greater Albuquerque area. You butter believe it’s Juni Beurre Amie Faraday!
